How we started and Grew

Mordhana Ashram Organic Nursery Garden is a part of “SHANTHI MAARKA SABAI,” founded by our beloved Guruji in 2011. SHANTHI MAARKA SABAI is a unique spiritual ashram located in Tamil Nadu for those who are interested in a spiritual life. Our Guruji educates them on how to achieve peace of mind.

In 2006, we started gardening in our Ashram for our own beautification purposes. We purchased lawn grass and plants from local vendors. After a few years, that garden had lost its quality and colour. The grass and plants, right before our eyes, eventually died. We were shocked, and we analysed the reason for the death of our garden. Finally, we discovered that most of the grass and plants found in the market were mostly cultivated using only chemical fertilizers, which caused their lifespan to be very short.

How we differ from others

Many lawn and garden cultivators with commercial motives produce grass mats with minimal effort and time using inorganic chemical fertilizers. However, we, the Ashram people, serve and survive in the name of God. Therefore, we sell organically cultivated grasses with huge effort and time to make good quality products at very reasonable prices.
During lawn care maintenance, we don’t use chemicals to treat insects and pests; instead, we only use organic repellents. When you maintain your lawn regularly with organic methods, your grass and plants automatically develop tolerance to insects, pests, and drought.
